OTBN Dev Log: Day 0

Overall Goal:

  • Make a Doom-like vr game
  • Finish it, know the product making process end to end

 

Current status:

  • Stuck figuring out the basic framework
  • Current thinking: Unity 2021 + Oculus Integration + ultimateXR
  • Oculus Integration + interaction toolkit was not effective
  • Just need a basic framework so I can work on guns and ai (unity navmesh scripts)

 

  • Idea came up of using 2d assets in 3d environment, really want to try this with unit follow script, will test once framework is done
